Extremely rare architectural textured clear Glass America vase, manufactured by Blenko. This vase was designed by Blenko designer Don Shepherd. It was designed by Mr. Shepard before started his career at Blenko…1974-1988. It was hand blown at the Blenko factory , but never appeared in any Blenko catalog. I assume Mr. Shepard’s company, Glass America, had a contract with Blenko to produce this object. Once produced, this item was then likely marketed and retailed by Glass America. The vase measures 23-1/2” in height, at it highest point. The irregular top opening is roughly 3” in diameter. The equilateral triangular base measures approximately 9” on all three sides. Wonderful opportunity to own a rare and large Glass America vase designed by Don Shepherd, made by Blenko.
