I looked through the catalogs and could not find this exact set only. I only came across the solid base version. Between the years 1875 and 1895, he worked as a silver plater in Boston. According to his listing on the 1880 census, at the time, he lived in Medford, Massachusetts, and was a manufacturer of silverplated soda fountain components. On June 23rd, 1885, he was issued a patent for his original designs and improved process for imprinting Britannia silver and other soft metals with said designs.
