The maker's mark on back places the date range from 1891-1900. The research is half the fun of ownership. Look closely at photos. There are two minor hairline fractures visible in the photo of the back of plate, but that is not distracting to the beauty of this plate. A mfg. flaw can also be seen on the outside rim of the front of this plate. There is a small brown chip stuck in the glaze that happened the day the plate was fired. This was common for everyday less expensive tableware.
